- Regulate more licences on child care centers on healthier eating and exercises. More than 12 million children regularly spend time at child care arrangements outside of their homes.
- Make communities a safer and more appealing place to go outside and play
- Increase healthier food access with more affordable prices
- Decrease the availability and consumption of high-energy dense foods and sugar sweetened beverages. On average, 80% of children drink sugar sweetened beverages.
- Decrease portion sizes on meals. Support healthier snack options between meals
- Increase breastfeeding support up until at least 6 months. 75% of mothers start breastfeeding, however only 13% actually meet the 6 months mark.
